In Begusarai district, a young man committed suicide by hanging himself after being refused alcohol. After this suicide, there was a stir in the area. On receiving the news of death, there was an uproar among the family members. The incident happened in Daniyalpur of Teghra police station area.
When he came home drunk, his wife protested
Let us tell you that the deceased has been identified as Rajesh Rai, son of Shankar Rai, a resident of Daniyalpur. It is being told that the deceased Rajesh Rai was addicted to drinking alcohol. He used to drink alcohol continuously, which was being opposed by his wife. On Sunday night also, the deceased Rajesh Rai came home drunk, when his wife opposed it, Rajesh Rai got angry and committed suicide by hanging himself in the house. He has told that he first locked the room in his own house and then committed suicide by hanging himself.
Alcohol is available openly even during prohibition
The local people informed the Teghra police station about this incident. The police from Teghra police station reached the spot, broke the door, took him down from the noose, took the body into their custody and sent it to Begusarai Sadar Hospital for postmortem and are busy in further action. In Begusarai, where liquor is prohibited in Bihar, liquor is being sold openly, due to which even the youth are consuming alcohol. Today it has crossed all limits, when the wife refused to let him drink alcohol, the husband committed suicide by hanging himself.
